Diamond Etching
is the art of using a specialized engraving pen or Dremel tool to create images on polished black granite, permanently etching the artwork into stone. This is often used on public art emplacements, memorials or on grave markers, which is where I picked up the know-how. These are a few of the images I’ve done, either for my own benefit like the portrait of Albert Einstein below, or for clients who wanted something special to remember loved ones.
