Bronze jewelry is timeless, durable, beautiful, and affordable!
By John Maddin
Silver is currently, as of today’s date, $31.02 per ounce. That’s up from around $18 an ounce when I started doing jewelry again a couple years ago. And THAT price is up from around $8 per ounce when I first started in jewelry-making business 20 years ago. Then someone suggested switching to another metal that is beautiful: bronze.

Bronze is beautiful, timeless and budget friendly
In other words, it’s gotten expensive. Too expensive for li’l ol’ me to continue making all my jewelry in sterling silver.
Sooooo…..
Beginning in the next few weeks I’ll be switching things over to Bronze. Bronze can capture the same level of detail as Silver, for far, FAR less than current silver prices. I just bought 5 POUNDS of bronze casting grain for about $90……
Neat thing about the kind of Bronze I’m getting, it’s a yellow bronze and when it polishes up it looks just like 14k gold.
CH-CH-CHANGES coming soon

About a month from now I’ll have a whole new set of rings, pendants, ear clips and nipple shields that I can sell for cheaper prices but will have the same level of crazy detail as everything you’ve seen in Sterling Silver. And it’ll look like solid gold. Sounds like a Win/Win in my book.
I’ll still make jewelry in Sterling Silver, but only for special orders. After I start getting a supply of Bronze jewelry I’ll be making changes to things over at the Etsy page, and you’ll be able to order jewelry there either in the less-expensive Bronze or the deluxe Sterling Silver. Stay tuned for further details!
